Monday 13 June 2016 the Waldur Board changed, Stan and Tim left and Stefan Jeroen joined. Stefan took over from both Stan and Tim, Jeroen replaced Tessie.

On 23th of June 2014, the board of Waldur changed. Arno and Lars left the board and Tim and Tessie joined. Thereby was Lars the secretary for the half year Stan was abroad for his internship.

The year 2014-2015 will be dominated by modernisation. The new website is the first visible step in this process. Analog practices will make place for digital ones. Examples are the Gjallar and the “Event Subscription Procedure”. And due to the fact that the faculty Electrical Engineering will move to a new building this winter, the board is reorganizing lots of things.

Furthermore the board wants to improve contact with their members. The recently released facebook page will help to achieve this goal. There are also plans to introduce a “Waldur Wednesday”, which will be shaped later this year.

Lastly, the board wants to exploit their networks as good as possible. Think about activities with other boards connected to e.t.s.v. Thor, activities with SSD (Delft) and extensive contact with Waldur’s favors, Professors and Phds.


On December 17th, 2013, the Waldur board changed again. This time, Jeroen Linnartz and Ruben left their positions within the Waldur board, while Stan Hurkmans and Rick Scharrenberg took over their responsibilities.

On March 5th, 2013, it was time to change the Waldur board. This time, Ralph Stassen and Willie van Meijl  left the board to fully focus on their graduation project. Luckily, two new candidates, Herwart Gärtner and Jeroen Linnartz, were ready to take over their positions within the Waldur board. Furthermore, our Commissioner of Public Relations shifted its position to chairman, while our treasurer remained on his position.

On the ALV of June 20th, 2012, it was finally time to switch the Waldur board. It was very difficult for the old board to leave their positions, after such a long and good experience with Waldur. Especially for Raoul, it was hard to leave the board after three years of experience within the Waldur board. Also, Jos needed to leave the board, because he is almost finished graduating. Fortunately, a new, enthusiastic board has been found to take over their responsibilities. We welcome Arno Stamps as vice chairman and commissioner of public relations, and Ruben Geurts as treasurer. Ralph has taken over the tasks of Raoul, while Willie will still be fulfilling his tasks as secretary.

During the ALV of November 16th, 2011, Raoul said that he liked his position as a chairman so much, that he wants to be the chairman of Waldur for another year. Unfortunately, the board needs to say goodbye to Erik Hoevenaars. During the ALV, you could clearly see that it was difficult for him to leave his position within the Waldur board. Erik is now going on an adventure in Sweden, and the board wishes him all the best there. Fortunately, he has trained his successor Willie van Meijl. Furthermore, our treasurer wanted to be on the board for another year, and therefore a new board position as vice chairman and commissioner of public relations has been created for Jos de Regt. After the Waldur hammer hit the table, Jos de Regt switched to his new position within the board and Ralph Stassen was installed as new treasurer. Ralph was very pleased to take over the responsibilities as treasurer.

After some delays, the Waldur board finally changed during the ALV of Februari 18th. After two-and-half years, Michel van Eerd, who gave the word ‘temporary’ a new meaning, transferred his responsibilities as treasurer to Jos de Reg. Maarten Kremers, also two-and-half years active within the board, left the board and gave the Waldur hammer of the chairman to Raoul Bernards. Directly after his installation, Raoul installed Erik Hoevenaars as new secretary.

After being active within the Waldur board for almost three years, Jeroen Waarma left the board on August 26th, 2009. Being the only candidate for the new board, it was easy for Raoul Bernards to take over his position.

On the ALV of April 1st, 2009, Thomas Ariaan left the Waldur board and Michel van Eerd took over his position as treasurer.

On the ALV of October 14th, 2008, just in time, a new board was found, which prevented a temporary closure of Waldur. Teun Oome travelled all the way from England to install the new board and transfer his tasks to Maarten Kremers. Dirk Schoenmakers gave up his position as secretary to promote Jeroen Waarme from treasurer to secretary. Thomas Ariaans took over the responsibilities of treasurer from Jeroen Waarma, while Michel van Eerd was installed as vice chairman.

During the ALV of April 24th, 2007, it was time to transfer the responsibilities of the graduated board members Inge Tigchelaar and Giel van de Wijdeven to Teun Oome and Jeroen Waarma. Teun Oome is taking over the position of chairman from Inge Tigchelaar, while Jeroen Waarma is taking over the position of treasurer from Giel van de Wijdeven

On October 27th, 2006, Waldur said goodbye to two board members: chairman Bart Pluijms and secretary Jan Schellekens. Inge Tigchelaar switched from Commissioner Public Relations to chairman, while Dirk Schoenmakers joined the board as secretary.

On June 9th, 2006, the Waldur board was changed again. Inge Tigchelaar joined the Waldur board as a fourth board member. She will be fulfilling the position of Commissioner of Public Relations.

During the ALV of January 28th, 2004, Pim Freij left the Waldur board. His responsibilities as secretary are taken over by Justin van Essen, graduation student of the EPE department.
