On the 23rd of May, Deme offshore visitied us for a very interesting lunchlecture. During the lecture, they first started with What Deme group does, which is ranging in a lot of different categories in offshore engineering. This also includes different ships they have for different applications. Then it was explained what the role an Electrical Engineerig is in Deme group. On the 30th of May 2023, we went to Prodrive Technologies with around 50 students and former students! At Prodrive there were interesting presentations about Power Converters & The energy transition after which we had a tour of the manufacturing site! We finished the day in a local pub to enjoy some beers and to catch up what everybody is doing nowadays.

To Celebrate the new year, two active members, Robin van der Meulen & Koen Kaalberg stood up and organized a memberslunch with a new year twist, therefore they earned their Waldur tie! It was very nice to see everybody again after the holidays.

On monday 14th of November 2022, we went to the Claus Power Plant to hear all about the future of RWE, the Claus Power Plant and how they operate it right now! We would like to thank RWE for making this excursion possible. It was an unique experience!

On the 12th of October we went tot DNV in Arnhem! It was a very interesting day with many different speakers. From DNV veterans to former TU/e students who have just started at DNV. We also got a guided tour... However no pictures allowed ;) We finished the day by going to mcdonalds on the way back.

On the 21st of September, the first lunchlecture of the year was held! Nilles Vrijsen, former Waldur member and currently Prodrive Employee gave a very interesting talk about the future of charging of electric vehicles: Robotic or Wireless ... Further more he told about his previous projects inside Prodrive.

On the 22nd of June the new board of Waldur held a party to celebrate their installment: A Constitution drink! It was a memorable moment for many of us, the pictures however got blurry with time, so only the early evening is documented ;)

on 13th of June Waldur went to the facilities of Strukton Power to visit the battery of the battery-hybrid electric locomotive of the Lustrum Lunchlecture!
